Find people in your cities who are involved or willing to be involved in Russian Orthodox Christianity. Those people who wants to go to Churches, being involved in the lents and fests. In general.... live by Russian Orthodox calender. I think there is a lot of things to know and a lot of things to share about Russian Orthodox Church and the lifestyle involved. We all can share and learn from each other. In near by cities and communities we can go to Church together, create meetings and do things. I am pretty sure that everyone of us who came to US has his/her own unique life story to share. Why are you here, why and how you became a Christian? Most importantly what does it mean for you to be Christian and live by God's commandments. There are a lot of things to talk about. For hundreds of years Christ was saving our native land and our religion from the enemies. Now Russian Orthodoxy is most beautiful and spiritual religion in the world (if you know how to live by it). And how to live........we going to learn here!!! I believe there should be a start for discussion, so I would like to say couple of things. First of all, there are people who were baptized when they were young (some of them didn't even know about it), went to Church couple of times and are wearing a Holy Cross on their neck. I am one of them. But there is also people who realized that this is not enough to be a Christian and I am also one of them. There is much more to it. That is what we are going to discuss......what does it mean to say Я Православный. Second of all, I would like to mention something about religion. Russian Orthodoxy is not just about faith in God it is about love. God loves everything that he created, the question is can we return that love back. Can we people love God more than anything else? The answer is Yes.......and if we can love God............we can love each other. Did anyone notice that we live in the world that is lack of love; a true simple love? LOVE IS A BLISS GUYS AND GIRLS It is not right to judge people...........Christianity teaches us, so I would like to mention couple of things about myself to give an example: I am proud, selfish, vain and angry. I am a liar. I don't want to forgive people. I don't want or in most cases don't have time to help other people. I don't like my parents. I have to say something bad about other person. I don't appreciate things that I have. I blame other people for my mistakes etc. In some cases you can say "The whole World is not enough." There is no end to such things. People don't realize this, some people think it is normal to be like that in the society we live in. One might say, " I have to survive or have as much fun as possible.....we live only one life." No we don't:) BUT.........these things are not just sins (I didn't want to use this word because some people might ask "What sin is anyway?"......but I do want to hear this question), these simple things or qualities affect my own life even more than life of those who around me. How would we live among each other if we wouldn't have this? I think I am done with my introduction......and I will start my invitations. Please take a minute and think about what I have said. Are you willing to change? Do you want your life to be a little bit different? Russian Orthodoxy is happy way of life........once again you just have to learn how to live it. There is no one who will tell you how to live......YOU will choose your own life. WE ARE YOUNG AND THERE SO MANY NICE THINGS IS YET TO HAPPEN:) Let me know if you are educated in Russian Orthodoxy, participating in it, or got away from it for certain reasons.
