PRIVET! This year Yoroh Language School, the Malaysian provider of Russian Language courses organizes a summer camp in St-Petersburg, Russia. The course will take 2 months i.e. from July to August and covers Beginner’s Elementary level A1. The Intensive Russian Language Course is the most popular of our programs. It enables our students to start speaking Russian in a short time. The course is very intensive; so much so that people dub it as “brain crushing”. Lessons are given 5 days a week Monday to Friday, 3 hours a day. Course contents: * Reading and Writing * Meeting people and greetings * Countries and nationalities * Numbers, days of the week, months of the year and dates * Telling the time and daily routines * Interests and leisure activities * Likes and dislikes * Travel and transportation * Asking for and giving directions * Sightseeing, hotels and tourist information * Entertainment and eating out * Shopping * Socialising * All basic grammar of Elementary Level A1 By the end of the course, you will be equipped to communicate in Russian on a basic level, to meet most of your basic daily needs. You will be awarded with a Progress Report to certify your attendance and progress in class. This course is the result of a co-operation between Yoroh and Christian Academy of Ingria Church*, which campus is located at Koltushi, a picturesque suburb closest to St-Petersburg (just 7 km by bus). It is the perfect choice for those who really want to learn Russian language and at the same time have the opportunity to experience excellent Russian culture. (*) There is no religious limitation for our students. Our students are free to represent any religion or religious beliefs. ACCOMODATION: We offer rooms in a small and comfortable guesthouse within the campus territory. The first floor of the guest house will belong to our language school. There are 4 bedrooms, one big living room combined with a kitchen, two toilets, two showers and sauna. The rental rate for a room is only 150 euro a month. There is a nice cafeteria on the premises with very reasonable prices. A proper dinner only costs about 2 euro. * Instead of being stuck in a city flat, you would be staying in small but cozy rooms, have the freedom to interact with friendly and simple people living in the surrounding villages, opportunity to find new friends, visit their houses, relax by the lakeside, breath fresh air and enjoy a myriad of other countryside activities. * At the same time the proximity of the location will allow you to reach the city centre in about one hour during weekdays*. * Your class is located on the same premises as your place of stay which saves time and hassle otherwise spent for daily commuting. (**) Summer is the time of very heavy traffic in out-from-city directions in most cities in Russia. During weekdays traffic is not as heavy as it is on weekends. Sometimes people are stuck in traffic for 5-6 hours. The location we’ve chosen lets you to almost avoid the heavy traffic and thus eliminate these inconveniences.
