We are glad to invite you to join our educational meetings of English Movie Club. WE’RE RESUMING OUR MEETINGS AFTER SEVERAL YEARS OF SILENCE. IT’S GOING TO BE ONLINE MEETINGS IN ZOOM WITH THE CAMERAS TURNED ON. Do you want to continue practicing your English, learning new words and expressions and meeting new people in a funny easy-going ambiance? There would be a lot of speaking practice and games both in groups, and in pairs. ANY LEVEL OF ENGLISH IS ACCEPTABLE. We ask you to: - watch some specific films before coming to the meeting (with subtitles or without them); - make notes of unfamiliar words and expressions; - learn the whole list of vocabulary related to this film that we will prepare and upload here beforehand; - and the last but not the least - don't forget your good mood:) Our meeting lasts 2-2,5 hours and consists of: - speed-meeting where we discuss important topics, touched upon in the film; - games with words where we will use several techniques of quick learning and retaining new words in the long-term memory. Keep in mind that your success in English depends on your preparation. Just set up the following experiment: prepare for each meeting to the maximum and see your amazing results. Just be bound and determined. Of course, it requires your time and energy, but as an old good American proverb says: "A watched pot never boils". So, have patience and try to dance to a positive tune - you'll certainly face impressive results of our common work!:). There is the small payment for the meeting and it comprises 300 RUR (sort of a bonus for organizers encouraging them to prepare interesting and educative materials).
