Описание

When most think of Japan they think of anime, the neon wonderland that is Tokyo, shrines, sushi, and plenty of other things, but most don’t’ think metal. The fact is, Japan has a number of bands that are taking metal into new and bold directions and they go behind just the “rock and roll crazy nights” that some know thanks to Loudness. Most of us in the West would first be introduced to grindcore Japanese style thanks to a split feature Napalm Death and S.O.B, but grind is changing yet again in Japan. Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation is a grindcore act that is going to make an impact, and it goes far beyond just their music. The band has a musical style that can easily be compared to the early days of grindcore when only the most extreme and devoted fans knew of its existence. Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation, or F.I.D, definitely is grindcore come full circle back to the early days, but there is something else that makes them unique, and it’s not just the fact that they are Japanese. If you know nothing about the band, the thing that might surprise you is that F.I.D is actually a four piece act made up of all girls. That’s right, Japan’s newest sensation in the world of grindcore happens to be all women. It’s not just a bass player like with Bolt Thrower, it’s not just a vocalist like you’d find in Arch Enemy, but four ladies all playing instruments, and quite well I might add. It’s been a long time coming for F.I.D to finally release their first full-length album and their demos have been sought after by tape traders and fans across the globe that haven’t been able to get enough of their music. The bands first, self-titled release is just what we’ve been waiting for however, and the 2008 Obscene Extreme has heralded F.I.D’s highly anticipated release. Flagitious Idiosyncrasy in the Dilapidation musically sounds like early Carcass as you might here on Reek of Putrefaction as well as some of the early Napalm Death releases, those before the release of Mentally Murdered. While F.I.D’s release is just under 32 minutes, there’s no shortage of tracks or of blistering grindcore. Vocalist Makiko uses two different vocal styles, one being a high pitched, shrill scream that is definitely intoxicating as well as a low pitched growl. Both are quite impressive and are just one of the many things that makse the band hypnotic to listen to. Tomoko, the band’s drummer, achieves some very good speed on some cuts and has some great mid-ranged beats. While she may not be able to match up with some of the fastest drummers in the industry, Inferno from Behemoth and Nile’s George Kollias are really the two to beat, she still has some incredible talent. Kyoko and Kanako, guitar and bass, round out the four piece and both are impressive as well and there are times when it’s easy to forget that F.I.D is four ladies doing what most have only thought the guys could do. http://www.myspace.com/fidgrind Discography: The 1st demo Demo, 2003 http://www.4shared.com/file/30887948/fbe7023a/Flagitious_Idiosyncrasy_In_The_Dilapidation_-_1st_demo.html The 2nd demo Demo, 2004 http://www.4shared.com/file/30937122/fff7ffae/Flagitious_Idiosyncrasy_In_The_Dilapidation_-_2nd_demo.html Short Fast & Loud #19 Split With Insect Warfare, 2008 http://www.4shared.com/file/69266192/dbe07504/FIDITD_-_SWIW.html Flagitious Idiosyncrasy In The Dilapidation Full-length, 2008 http://depositfiles.com/files/6690872 2011 - 覚醒
