Bangladesh is a country of South Asia, a growing tiger of Asia and the 2nd economy of South Asia, the 33th economy of the world. It is a role model of the third world, a founder member of SAARC, BIMSTEC etc. It is the 8th biggest country with about 160 million people. It became independent in 1971 from Pakistan. It is fighting against poverty, illiteracy and mal-nutrition. Now Bangladesh is in the right track of development. Recently it has achieved great success in the field of agriculture and industry. Now it is a wonder of the modern world and it is called role model for its development. Here social progress is more than India. For instance, we have more life expectancy than India by four years.
