Dimension F3H official VK The band: Morfeus - Jack of all trades Motvind - Guitars Nasreten - Bass Moloch - Drums Dimension F3H is musical explorations from the mind of Morfeus (Viper Solfa, ex-Limbonic Art, ex-Mayhem). He puzzled with the ideas for a solo project for what seemed like ages. At first it was a non-metal project only, but as time passed the metal roots pressed on, and there was no help for it, it had to be metal of some sort. Songs were developed, and after a while Nesmoht (Arch Nemesis) was headhunted for his vocal abilities, and in Christmastime 2000, the two recorded a demo to have something to present to the world and its labels. The disc reached Hammerheart Records who instantly saw the potential in the project, and Dimension F3h inked a deal with them in May 2001. After this, Dimension F3H were searching for a suitable drummer, and Stian “Thunderforce” Kristoffersen (Pagan’s Mind, Trivial Act) joined the crew. Dimension F3H was a reality, and moved on to finish up the material and recorded the debut album “Reaping the World Winds”. After “Reaping the World Winds” Dimension F3H faced several changes in the line-up. Arghamon (Lucid Fear, Trail of Tears) finally settled down in the drum throne. Mr. Moe (Cutthroat, Trail of Tears, Viper Solfa) is handling the 4 string, Motvind (Arch Nemesis) has settled in on rhythm guitar, and Morfeus is now doing the vocals in addition to his other instruments. This of course has affected the sound of the band in certain ways, the sound has become darker and more sinister. “Does the Pain Excite You?” was released summer 2007 via Dark Essence Records, getting massive reviews worldwide. “Melding classic thrash elements with a dash of black, this record takes you on an emotional rollercoaster you won’t soon forget. Depressive, Pessimistic, and Daring. Dimension F3H take heavy music to a place that few dares to take it” (Brutalism.com) The band followed up with several concerts supporting the album, ending with supporting the legendary Mayhem on the first leg of their European tour promoting “Ordo ad Chao”. Since then Dimension F3H has been in somewhat of a hiatus as Morfeus was working with Mayhem as a session guitarist for several years. A lot of material was written for the upcoming third album during this time, but progress was slow. Arghamon left the band for personal reasons, and Dimension F3H set out yet again to find a replacement. Several drummers were tested and in the end, we landed with Nasreten (Rüst, Visegard, Kirkebrann). Early in 2016 he decided to throw in the towel and quit the band. After some careful consideration Dimension F3H decided to cut their losses and eliminate the drummer problem for good. Moving on with a hybrid of programmed drums and a maniac percussionist! In the start of 2017 Mr. Moe decided to call it quits and leave the band. Because he fit so well in the band we approached Nasreten again to see if he would be willing to take Mr. Moe’s place in the band and rock the bass and with the addition of Moloch (ex-Kirkebrann) we now have a solid lineup ready to kick some major ass! Our third album “This Mechanical World” was released in November 2016 and we are currently working on promoting the album, booking live gigs and the process of writing new songs have already started…
