A promising young filly, Millionreasonswhy won her first career start in sloppy conditions at Colonial Downs Race Course in Providence Forge, Va. on June 11, 2011. After a slow start, she then tipped out in the stretch, steadily gained and took the lead inside the sixteenth pole and won the race under jockey, Geovany Garcia earning $13,340; competed in the 104th running of the $150,000 Grade II Matron Stakes at Belmont Park on July 3, 2011. Under jockey John Velazquez, the 6-1 shot finished two lengths in front of Say a Novena while clocking six furlongs in 1:12.68; she will run next in the 2011 $150,000 Grade II Adirondack Stakes Grade on Aug. 14.
